5BASE-6 Compatibility: 12mm Thick Laminate Flooring with waterproof "hydroseal/GenuEdge" edge (measure plank thickness without underlayment)
The Mohawk aluminum stair base track allows use of any InstaForm 5-in-1 laminate wood molding (MINC5 part numbers, these are sold separately) in stair nose configuration. You can mount the track two different ways: for flush stair nose configuration or for an overlap stair nose configuration. There are multiple variations of track for difference thickness laminate flooring. Please make sure to select the track that is intended for your floor's thickness (excluding any attached or unattached underlayment thickness). For example: 7mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm with milled bevel, 12mm with pressed bevel, waterproof 12mm with hydroseal edge.
